The Middlebrook Elementary project involved a 31,700-square-foot classroom addition, introducing 24 new classrooms, a new parking lot, and various campus improvements. These upgrades enhance the school’s functionality while complementing its existing, lush, tree-filled surroundings. Built for the Lafayette Parish School Board, this single-story classroom wing seamlessly integrates with the existing school. The structure features durable materials, including concrete masonry and steel, ensuring longevity and resilience. The construction took place during active school sessions, requiring meticulous planning and coordination among the general contractor, subcontractors, and school administration. This approach minimized disruptions, allowing educational activities to continue smoothly while delivering much-needed space and amenities for students and staff.
