Clay Rudick

Clay Rudick

Clay Rudick was born in South Louisiana. Building is virtually in his blood. As a child, Clay was inspired by the size, scope, and complexity of the projects he encountered while frequenting the banks, schools and industrial offices his father had a hand in constructing. He fondly remembers the job site walks and talks along-side his father. Clay attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2007. After college Clay moved to Dallas, Texas to join one of the area’s most respected general contracting firms. Over the next decade, Clay was instrumental in successfully delivering many of the firm’s most complex projects.

With a proven track record for delivering quality, timely and cost-effective building solutions for his clients, Clay took the leap of faith putting his lifelong dream into action and opened Rudick Construction Group, Inc. in the spring of 2017. For Clay, the goal of RCG, Inc. is simple: put the right team of industry professionals in place to deliver a quality building to a satisfied customer. To achieve this end, it is vital to Clay that those working for and with RCG, Inc. share his same passion for building.

Today Clay provides overall leadership and business planning for Rudick Construction Group. He is responsible for overseeing market pursuits, financial controls, and risk management procedures. Clay works closely with clients, consultants, financial institutions, and sureties to provide best-in-class service and product delivery.

Shortly after graduating he transitioned into the preconstruction division of an ENR ranked general contractor. Over the course of his career, he has accumulated a billion dollars of preconstruction experience.  He joined Clay as the Vice President of Rudick Construction Group in spring 2017.

As a Dallas native, Mike is passionate about the opportunity to work in an industry focused on the city’s growth and development.  His knowledge, expertise, and attention to detail show through his work and effort to deliver the best quality product to our clients.
