Beating the Heat: RCG’s Jobsite Safety Training in Action

20, Aug, 2026

Summer jobsites bring more than just long days. They bring real risk. That’s why this August, RCG rolled out Heat Awareness Training across every jobsite, running August 10–13, to make sure every crew member knows how to recognize the warning signs of heat-related illness and how to stay safe when temperatures climb.

Led by our Project Superintendents, the training covered the essentials: spotting early symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, staying properly hydrated, pacing work during peak heat hours, and, just as important, watching out for each other on site. Because on a hot day, safety isn’t a solo effort. It’s a team one.

A big thanks to our Safety Manager, Juan Villegas, for putting together the training materials and posters that helped bring this initiative to life and kept the message clear and visible across every site.

Take a look at the video below to see the training in action, and remember: stay cool, stay hydrated, and look out for your crew.
