Rudick Construction Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Roman Brown to Vice President | Division Manager. Since joining Rudick in 2020, Roman has built deep expertise in advanced manufacturing, industrial, and mission-critical construction within live, operating facilities. He has consistently demonstrated a commitment to project execution, team leadership, and client partnership, including a nearly five-year relationship with a client that has grown through numerous projects and a continuous presence on its campus. Roman’s growth reflects Rudick’s commitment to developing leaders from within and the trust he has earned from both his teams and clients. 

“Starting as an Assistant Project Manager and having the opportunity to grow into a Vice President position six years later speaks volumes about Rudick and its leadership team,” Roman says. “Rudick values its people and is willing to invest time in developing those who show up, work hard, and want to continue growing.” 

Rather than pointing to a single project as his career turning point, Roman credits the advanced manufacturing market itself. “Those projects forced me to dive deeply into the details because every project was different,” he explains. Working within active, operating facilities taught him early on that construction is only part of the job. Success also means understanding a client’s operations, coordinating closely with design teams, and planning around live production schedules. 

That willingness to learn has been a constant throughout Roman’s career. As an Assistant Project Manager, he regularly spent hours in the field shadowing subcontractors, asking questions about what they were doing, why they were doing it, and what came next. As he progressed, he took the same approach with the Project Managers, Project Executives, and Vice Presidents around him, learning from how they navigated projects, relationships, and challenges. 

As Roman moved into roles overseeing multiple teams, those lessons began shaping his own approach to leadership. “Getting to know the people on my teams personally, understanding what motivates them, and figuring out how I can help each individual be successful has become a big part of how I approach leadership.” 

Roman hopes to provide others with the same opportunities, support, and trust that helped him grow from an Assistant Project Manager into a Vice President. “I want our people to feel comfortable asking questions, challenging ideas, taking ownership, and knowing that leadership is there to support them.”
